Suzan Pape and Harmony’s Don Noblesse
Wellington, Fla. – Jan. 14 2017 – British rider Suzan Pape and Harmony’s Don Noblesse, a 10-year-old Hanoverian stallion, came away with the victory after the FEI Grand Prix Special held in The Stadium at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) on Saturday. This week marks the pair’s CDI Grand Prix division debut, and they earned a score of 68.118 percent in the Grand Prix Special. The class was part of the first CDI-W of the 2017 Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) season and was sponsored by AMCI to benefit Brooke USA.
Pape and Harmony’s Don Noblesse had a successful show season last year receiving top placings in the CDI small tour division, and they have been working on moving up to the Grand Prix division since then.
During her test, the piaffe and passage was a highlight that helped her clinch the win. Pape noted that collection is a consistent strong point for Harmony’s Don Noblesse.

“Today was his first Grand Prix Special and he was very well behaved,“ Pape explained. “As a whole, I am very proud of him! In Germany, he was third in the finals of upcoming young Grand Prix horses just before Christmas.”
Going forward, Pape has high hopes for her Hanoverian mount.
“I would like to progress forward with him — maybe in the long run do a bigger CDI or a national championship in England,” Pape concluded. “Everybody needs to stay healthy and sound.”
