Gothenburg, Sweden – March 26, 2016 – Australia’s Mary Hanna and Umbro will lead off the Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday at the Reem Acra FEI World Cup Final. The order was drawn in groups based on the reverse order of placings in Friday’s Grand Prix.
Grand Prix winner Hans Peter Minderhoud of the Netherlands, riding Glock’s Flirt, will be third from last to compete. Second-placed Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfvén of Sweden and Don Auriello are fifth from last, and third-placed Patrik Kittel will be the final competitor down centerline.
The United States’ Guenter Seidel and Charlotte Jorst ride fairly early in the order, with Seidel on Zero Gravity starting fourth and Jorst on Kastel’s Nintendo starting right after him in the fifth slot. Jorst was the top U.S. finisher in the Grand Prix, taking 11th place in the field of 18.
Results of the Grand Prix Freestyle will determine the 2016 World Cup champion. The Freestyle begins at 1:15 p.m. CEST (7:15 a.m. EDT).
