Wellington, Fla. – Feb. 22, 2017 – All horses passed the health inspection during Wednesday’s rainy jog in anticipation of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival’s Week 7 CDI-W sponsored by The Axel Johnson Group. The jog inspection on Wednesday morning passed all but two competitors after their first jaunt down the lane. After a second inspection, both competitors were accepted to compete.
The competition began the same day with the FEI Prix St. Georges CDI division under the cover of the Van Kampen Arena at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC).

This week’s CDI-W, a qualifying competition for the FEI World Cup in Omaha, Nebraska, will see some of the best athletes in the sport of dressage, bringing together 25 riders and 29 horses from nine countries. United States Olympic bronze medalists Laura Graves, Steffen Peters, and Kasey Perry-Glass will be heading down centerline in the Grand Prix class to vye for a spot to Omaha.
The FEI Grand Prix Competition will begin Thursday, Feb. 23 at 9:15 a.m. The Grand Prix Freestyle will begin Friday, Feb. 24 at 7:00 p.m., and the Grand Prix Special will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 2:50 p.m.
